1 R has been looking at the damage that plastic bags can do to our oceans. We took a look at the story of a turtle that had been caught up in a plastic bag and decided that we needed to start looking for alternatives. We used the TASC wheel to help us go about solving the problem and decided to design a shopping bag or our own. There were lots of different designs, but we decided that the best bags needed to be strong, easy to carry and waterproof. We decided that fabric bags would be best as we could reuse them each time we went shopping
